Who runs Rail Enthusiasts Ltd The company was set up in February of 2004 with the aim of providing a quality on-line searchable database for rail enthusiasts. The company is owned by John Martin, a keen rail enthusiast since 1973, and is operated with a staff of 5 employees who regularly update our database throughout the day. Our sister company (www.lorryspotting.com) has successfully operated a web related searchable database for the past 10 years and currently has 4582 registered users.

Are my sightings safe The entire Rail Enthusiast database is backed up every night to two separate remote locations to ensure that your information is kept safe. All information is encrypted before it is backed up, so there is no way anyone can access your personal information. Once you join your personal log is never deleted under any circumstances

If I join will my credit or debit card automatically be charged in 12 months time Most certainly not . Within 28 days of your membership expiring you will be sent an email inviting you to renew your membership. Under no circumstances will we charge your card again. You will always be in control of deciding whether to renew or not.
